I don’t post a lot of personal updates (well never) but this one deserves a post. Last night I appeared in a charity boxing event in my first white collar boxing fight. I trained hard for 6 months (an almost novice) and focused on preparing my body and mind for a challenge that seemed impossible at the start. I walked into that ring feeling calm and prepared. I was ready. It was a tough fight and win or lose (I lost..just) I learnt so much about myself. I can achieve anything if I set my mind to it, focus, practice, prepare and work hard. Never give up and the hard days are the days that build up your resilience. I will use all of this in my professional career and remember this moment when I have to tackle a difficult day, or stand up infront of a big crowd. Take on the challenge and we will surprise ourselves in whatever can achieve.
👏🏼 Well done on one of your many challenges!! Inspirational!
