Today's topic got me reminiscing about the incredible journey at Cottonwood Residential as I approach my three-year anniversary. That's my desk right there – adorned with the iconic "World's Best Boss" bobblehead and a nameplate that makes me smile every day. These weren't just gifts; they symbolize the journey of building a team and fostering a culture that matters. When I stepped into my role, tasked with shaping a new marketing department, I realized something profound. Our new talent wasn't just looking for a job; they were seeking a place where their voice mattered, where they felt valued, and where our company's values aligned with theirs.
