A Special Message on this July 4th from AHC President, Julie Broadway: Birthdays, after a certain age, are less about the cake and candles and more about assessment and reflection. Accomplishments and disappointments are examined, hopefully pointing a path forward toward more of the former and less of the latter. You might find this a rather somber open to an essay on the occasion of our common birthday – Independence Day. Be assured there is much to celebrate. There will be parades all across the nation. In many instances, the celebrations will be led and attended by a faithful, brave, and spirited four-legged partner: the horse. It is on this point that we would like to reflect upon this year. Over the course of 248 birthdays, from George Washington’s horse Nelson riding fearlessly into Revolutionary war battles to providing honors to the fallen at Arlington Cemetery, horses have been woven into this country’s history. Horses have tilled our land for food and provided transport from everything from postal services to operational partners in times of war. As the nation evolved so did the role of the horse. The transition from physical labor — using horsepower to leisure activities — marked a significant shift in our relationship with these magnificent creatures. Consequently, the discussion around them has shifted from what horses need to do to support the rider or the spectator to what we need to do to support the horse. Offshore Staffing QUALITY PROFESSIONALS with confidence | SPANISH & ENGLISH | Let us match you with the right candidate so you can have peace of mind, save money, and focus on your growth! | Founder @ Remote Hive
Marriages create the best business partnerships 🤌🏼💪🏼✌🏼 Often times traditional business partnerships between friends can become “unfair” quickly because either side at any point will feel they: -put in more time -put in more money -put in more effort -have more knowledge And you think that if profits are being split 50/50 then time, money, and effort put in should be also. HOWEVER, a married couple already has experience under their belt with playing to their strengths and knowing things won’t always be 50/50. It’s just how it is. Some weeks one party has to put in 80 while the other 20 and other weeks it’ll have to be 40/60. A business partnership between a married couple doesn’t have that set back of what’s fair or not- especially bc all the profits go to one place- they know what part they need to play to contribute to the greater whole. Yes, I am blessed to have a supportive husband who’s been there with me since day 1 of Remote Hive. Oh and fun fact my mother in law is even more supportive 😂 she’s been my biggest fan since day 1 and has no doubt I’ll be successful. The. Pressure. Is. Real. Anyways the JCE was super cool- met so many people and some from LinkedIn. Looking forward to many more expos with Shelomo Ovadya 💖🔥

🌟 Reflecting on the Courage of My Great Grandmother during Challenging Times 🌟 As we journey through history, it's crucial to remember the stories that shaped us. Today, I want to share the remarkable story of my African American great grandmother, who lived in Mississippi during the tumultuous year of 1955. Her resilience and unwavering love in the face of adversity continue to inspire me. In 1955, Mississippi was a battleground for civil rights, where segregation and discrimination were deeply entrenched. My great grandmother, a woman of incredible strength and grace, bore witness to the tragic events of that era, including the horrific murder of Emmett Till. Emmett Till's story is a painful reminder of the racial injustice and hatred that marred our history. It's a stark reminder that we must continue to fight against discrimination and prejudice in all its forms. I often think about how my great grandmother must have felt during those times. She saw the worst of humanity, but she also embodied the best - love, resilience, and a determination to create a better world for her family. Though we've come a long way since 1955, there is still much work to be done to achieve true equality and justice for all. I wish things were different back then, and I'm committed to making a difference now. Let us honor the memory of those who suffered and fought for change by continuing the struggle for a more just and inclusive society. Together, we can create a future where no one has to endure the pain and injustice my great grandmother witnessed. #HistoryMatters #EqualityForAll #CivilRights #EmmettTill #Inspiration #ChangeMakers #NAACP #humanrights
Today marks the 68th anniversary of Emmett Till's brutal lynching while visiting relatives in Mississippi in 1955. Justice, equity, and accountability are issues we will continue to fight for in honor of Emmett and his mother Mamie Till whose sacrifice and fortitude changed the trajectory of this nation.

As we usher in the New Year, let's collectively ensure a safe and joyous celebration for everyone. It is crucial to emphasize the potential dangers associated with the use of explosives during festivities. While fireworks and pyrotechnics add to the festive spirit, mishandling or using them irresponsibly can lead to serious injuries and property damage. As safety personnel, I urge each one of you to prioritize safety above all else. Consider attending public, organized displays conducted by professionals rather than engaging in personal use of explosives. If you choose to celebrate with fireworks at home, follow local regulations, maintain a safe distance, and have proper safety measures in place. Remember, your safety and the safety of those around you is paramount. Educate friends and family about the risks, and encourage responsible celebration practices. Let us ring in the New Year with joy, unity, and above all, a commitment to keeping our community safe. Wishing you a Happy and Safe New Year!
