That's a wrap on hiring for Q2! It's hard to believe we're halfway done with hiring for 2024. Because of our start date schedule and time to complete the pre-hire drug and background screening process, all offers accepted today or later will be for start dates in Q3 (or Q4). We had a record quarter of hiring with 91 headcount hires and 79 interns. This week, we met with senior leadership to ensure we understood hiring needs for the remainder of the year and discussed priorities. We've added another recruiter to the team and are redistributing workload to maximize our efficiency and effectiveness. We're creating a strategy to source for our toughest jobs. Our University Recruiting team is not only busy managing our internship program, but has already started planning for our 2025 university hiring, which begins in July with intern conversions, and August with new jobs posted and campus events in September. September 9th is the last start date prior to our big 130th anniversary celebration on the field at AT&T Stadium (i.e., home of the Dallas Cowboys). We want as many of our 2024 hires as possible to celebrate with us, so let's talk sooner, rather than later! Thanksgiving week is the finish line; here we go! 👍🏻James (Jim) P. Congrats!
Wow! Strong finish for this half of the year. All the best to the company and particularly the summer interns.
Go go go! Excited for all the new hires and their families :)
