The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) England have achieved the Leaders in Safeguarding Award. CITB is the industry training board for the construction sector in England, Scotland, and Wales. It is their job to help the construction industry attract talent and to support skills development, to build a better Britain. They are an executive non-departmental public body in charge of their budget and activities. Sponsored by the Department for Education, they are also accountable to government ministers, and ultimately to Parliament. Their Strategic Plan 2021-25 sets out the key skills challenges for construction and what they will do over the next few years to help address them.
