Just wrapped up a site visit to mark the grand opening of the Emergency Department at the Athens Medical Campus—the largest permanent healthcare facility in North America built using off-site modular construction. ✨🎉 The 25,000 square foot, first-floor Emergency Department is the starting point for Memorial Health System's comprehensive healthcare rollout within the 4-story, 100,000 square foot facility. This state-of-the-art department boasts a Trauma Bay, advanced imaging suites (CT, X-ray, Ultrasound), Triage Rooms, Exam Rooms (including Negative Pressure Exam Rooms), Psychiatric Evaluation Rooms, a Pharmacy, an Ambulance Vestibule for emergency arrivals, and waiting are with a cafe.
