Since Drupal’s Taxonomy Replace module has not been getting any attention lately (still no D10 release) I am taking it upon myself to do the update. Also, I am changing the module to allow replacing a taxonomy term with more than one terms. This essentially allows a simple Term Split feature for which there is not currently a contrib module (that I could find). Combine that with the very helpful Term Merge and Term Merge Manager modules and I’ve got a useful suite of tools for manipulating a taxonomy vocabulary.
