Too many organizations just give lip service to #ESG. We talk a lot about sustainability, but often fail to integrate the principles into workplace culture. If you're measuring the success of your ESG programs based only on what others see, that's not sustainability. That's PR. However, when you live your values, sustainability will take root across the organization. Your efforts will be clear to all, lifting up your workplace as a positive environment where people want to work. How are you measuring the impact of employee sustainability? #Sustainability #CompanyCulture #HumanResources
Exactly Jim! I have been in the ESG and tripe-bottom-line capitalism space since 1989, and "walking your talk", and "living your values" - as you stated, is the foundation. The strongest value is "Do unto others as you would do unto oneself," or "The Golden Rule, or the "law of karma" as various groups might express the foundations of ESG in action. Naturally, I consider the environment a "stakeholder" in all enterprises and not external.
Jim Link, you've hit the nail on the head. True sustainability is woven into the fabric of a company's culture, not just a glossy brochure. Measuring impact goes beyond metrics; it's about the lived experience of employees. Are they empowered and engaged in sustainability efforts? That's the real test.
I agree that sustainability in the company should be felt, not just seen!
Jim, integrating ESG into workplace culture requires commitment and authenticity. Success is measured by the positive changes in employee behavior and environment.
What a great discussion. Walk the talk!!
Jim, true sustainability is reflected in daily practices and values. The impact is evident in the genuine changes within our workplace.
So well said Jim Link
Great perspective!

1wCompletely agree with you Jim Link Too many organizations merely pay lip service to ESG principles, focusing on appearances rather than true integration into workplace culture. Genuine sustainability is about living your values. When this happens, the positive impact is evident, creating a workplace where people are eager to work and contributing to a better environment for all. Thx for posting and generating discussion on this topic!
