I am excited to be out from behind the desk and back in shops and on roofs. Attending and exhibiting at RE+ Mid-Atlantic is a significant turning point in our brand's story. This will be the first opportunity many folks will have to experience the complete line of products we have been developing. The Integrity Line of rails and mounts offers installers a departure from the status quo. Indestructible roof attachments, robust open-channel rail... this is what installers have been waiting for... not marketing gimmicks and doo-dads. Innovation is what this team does best- and now we are doing it on our own terms, leading with integrity. I hope you will come by the booth to say hello and see for yourself what progress looks like.

Hey gang, To all of those folks out there who will say you can't have it all- We say, YES YOU CAN. The SSB1 is the all-new roof attachment from Sunstack. Our Integrity rails and mounts are engineered with the future in mind. Sunstack has built a racking solution that would not just stand the test of time, but the rigors of increasing structural loads as well. This revolutionary mount offers an easier installation experience and advanced leak protection without sacrificing your roof team's workflow. Thanks to the slide plate, the SSB1 can be completely installed to the roof before attaching any L-feet or rail-less mounts. This keeps your team moving along in the "assembly line" fashion they like. The SSB1's patented deflector doesn't just put homeowners at ease, it keeps water and debris from collecting on the base, assuring that our proprietary butyl formula can do its job effectively for at least 25 years- guaranteed. Feel free to connect with me and the team, any time. #rooftopsolar #solar #residentialsolar
They say you cannot be all three- good, quick & easy. Well, we've got news for you- with the SSB1 from Sunstack, installers can have it all. Reach out to Joe Perez, Mike Dunlap or Takashi Chiyoda to get started. #solar #renewableenergy #rooftopsolar

Im a strong believer that human connection keeps business strong. Bonds make the tough conversations a little easier and the victories that much sweeter. Given the option, most folks say they prefer to conduct business this way. A couple months ago, I was invited on the Infinite energy podcast hosted by my friends Danny Mueller and Alexander Wolf from Frankensolar Americas. It was an honor to be asked more questions about my journey rather than my products or businesses. The personal interest they take in their colleagues, partners and customers is likely a distinguishing factor in their success. I’ve met a ton of good folks in this industry and Danny & Alex are some of the best.
Have you checked out our Podcast with Joe Perez yet? He shines some magnificent insights on what his take on the solar industry will be like in the next 5 years. Governor Josh Shapiro should enact the 30% AEPS ASAP! If the keystone state wants to attract clean energy investment and jobs at the rate its neighbors do, 30% by 2030 starts NOW! “The AEPS was enacted into law in 2004 but its renewable energy requirements plateaued in 2021, after requiring that just 8% of the state’s electricity come from renewable energy sources that year. Nearby states have much more aggressive goals: New Jersey 50% by 2030, New York 70% by 2030, and Maryland 50% by 2030.” #renewableenergy #economicgrowth #solar

Since the less than flattering piece in Time Magazine last week, half-baked - and half factual opinions have joined the ruck and are looking to continue to pile-on what many see as a fragile industry. Now, I don’t believe that the solar industry is so fragile that it requires Joe Perez to defend it, but at the same time, perhaps that exactly what’s needed from all common sense participants in this space. In a recent WSJ opinion piece, James Freeman takes shots at some of Solar’s low fruit. However, I feel he probably ought to have aimed first. Because if his aim had been a little more true. He would have realized that the same solar targets he shot at were perched directly in front of the oil and gas industry as well. To be clear, I feel freeman decrying solar subsidies is not only poor marksmanship, but down right hypocrisy. Oil and gas, a legacy industry with mature roots, receives tens of billions of subsidy every year. I know, this type of projection is the tactic of choice and probably here to stay - And yes, the solar industry has its issues, but enough is enough. What it likely comes down to are conficting investment interests. Like, your money endangers my money. So my advice to all these solar nay sayers is: go buy some renewable stocks, I mean, they are a total value price at this point, and then enjoy the fruits of pursuing a future where the United States realizes true energy independence.
