Here’s what a year at NeoDocs (YC S21) as a Full Stack Developer looks like: Twelve months ago, I walked in as a wide-eyed intern, navigating the uncharted territory of a health-tech startup. Today, as I complete one year, I can’t help but share my experience from the past year. ✅I never thought I’d get to work on such diverse projects- from helping out my team with government projects, creating dashboards, trying out new technologies, working and researching on various test kits (some of which will make it to the market soon)- it’s been an incredible journey! ✅Even as a fresher, I received amazing support from my team members and seniors Pratik, Nikunj, Anurag and Avinash. Grateful for mentorship, autonomy, and opportunities beyond the conventional. It helped boost my confidence. I mean, I never thought I’d be leading projects so early in my career. ✅At Neodocs, even a full-stack developer can explore beyond coding. I got the chance to pitch our revolutionary instant testing kits and other products at the MedTech Expo in Gandhinagar. What a thrilling experience, it was! Task #02 Delighted to share my second project at CodSoft . In my second task at CodSoft , I embarked on an incredible journey into the world of data and prediction with the Movie Rating Prediction project. 🎥🍿 What I've Accomplished: I was tasked with harnessing the power of data to predict movie ratings. To achieve this, I employed the Linear Regression Model, a fundamental machine learning technique. Here's what I did step by step: Data Collection: I gathered a diverse dataset containing a wide range of movie attributes, such as genre, director, actors, and budget. Data Preprocessing: Data often needs cleaning and shaping. I worked on missing values, outliers, and transformed data into a usable format. Feature Engineering: Feature selection and engineering played a crucial role. I identified the most influential factors affecting movie ratings and created new features to improve the model's performance. Model Building: The heart of the project was building the Linear Regression Model. I trained the model on historical data, allowing it to learn patterns and relationships between features and movie ratings. Evaluation: Rigorous evaluation was essential. I employed various metrics to assess the model's accuracy and generalization capabilities. Predictions: With a trained model in hand, I made predictions for movie ratings based on real-world data.
