Yesterday was an intense day in telco... While many were quick to question "why it happened", I think businesses should instead be asking "what can we do to prevent this?" It's a question not just for #telcos to answer, but everyone. The takeaway of yesterday's outage is just how crucial a robust fail-over policy is to businesses, especially those with large call centers. If you had trouble communicating with customers, be that by phone or SMS, it might be worthwhile reviewing what solutions you have in place, and more importantly, what solutions your vendor can offer when reacting to unexpected challenges. #telecommunications #telecoms #callcenter
