Presenting and discussing the outcomes of TNFD piloting at the Nature Positive Hub. 2.     The closing words at the #WorldBiodiversitySummit by Olivia Bisa Tirko President, Autonomous Territorial Government of the Chapra Nation. The launch of the Biodiversity Credit Alliance discussion paper Communities and nature markets: building just partnerships in biodiversity credits argues that biodiversity investors should be more aware of the important role of Indigenous Peoples (IPs) and Local Communities (LCs) in stewarding nature and biodiversity at the same event. 3.     The presentation by Andrew Merrie on Planetary Boundaries at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) and BNP Paribas Climate Nature Nexus Event on systems thinking in the climate-nature nexus for financial actors, and to discusses current strategies for nature positive in the context of climate reporting and net-zero commitments. Adam Kanzer, David Carlin 4.     The opening of the Nature positive hub with High-Level Climate Champions, Nature4Climate, and the baton being passed at the physical launch of the @Nature Positive Initiativeand meeting so many new and speaking with existing contacts. 5.     Overhearing people complain that this not climate week anymore but rather nature and climate week.

Consider, for example, the risk assessments regularly carried out for Shropshire county council, a local authority in the UK. As recently as 2020, it reported that its annualised portfolio returns would be hit by just 0.1 per cent over 30 years even as the world hurtled towards 4C of warming. Discomfort blankets There is growing unease that existing climate models may be providing a false sense of security. The UK Pensions Regulator recently raised concerns over scenario impacts that “seem relatively benign and appears to be at odds with established science”. Last November the Financial Stability Board warned that the scenarios used to assess risks to the financial system may understate climate vulnerability. «
