Last Friday was my final day as Chief Curatorial Officer at Museum of the Bible. It has been an honor and privilege to steward the museum’s collections, exhibitions, education programs, and research for the past seven years. I am especially proud that our team resolved numerous complex cultural heritage issues, opened nearly thirty special exhibitions, and worked with national and international partners to showcase the Bible in Washington DC. I cannot say enough about the talented and dedicated team of directors in my division: Anthony Schmidt, Rena Opert, Sandra Argo, Bobby Duke, Jill Funk, and Amy Botello. After much reflection and the accomplishment of many objectives, I made the decision that now is the right time to transition, and am looking forward to future opportunities. I am grateful to have been the first Chief Curatorial Officer of the museum and for being able to gather and structure a wonderful team. I am confident that there are great things ahead for the Museum. Thank you to my colleagues and friends for your support as I embark on the next chapter of my career.
