Here’s a Strong Return to Office HYBRID Policy: If leaders are insistent on bringing employees back in person, here is a corporate policy you should consider adopting: 1. Work from Home (WFH) Fridays. Keep meetings light on Fridays and save this day for weekly progress reporting and loose-end tightening. 2. WFH - ALL of June, July, & August. Yep. All summer. Maintain the same rhythms, workflow, and productivity with flexibility during the summer months. This allows employees to build strong trust and culture via face to face - which will carry-over into summer - while allowing flexibility. Organizations need strong culture and clarity in their roles and vision. AND.. People want flexibility. This satisfies both - and a “hybrid” policy with strong clarity is both respectable and will help companies retain strong talent.

In a recent study by Harvard Business Review, more than 1500 office-based workers prefer to come to the office for affiliation and development tasks, while others prefer working from home for administrative tasks. The study sheds light on the need for organisations and businesses to recognise the importance of flexibility in the workspace.
