What a year of 2023. After post COVID recovery, I wish everyone has a wonderful time with friends and family in this holiday season. I'd like to take the opportunity share with you the achievements and goals for the Trina ISBU business for the upcoming year. 1. Financial Success Journey: Excited to share the news that in my 1.5 years with Trina, we've successfully turned the business from loss to profitability. It's been an incredible journey, and I'm grateful for the hard work and dedication of the entire team. 2. Team Growth Milestone: Thrilled to announce the growth of our team from 5 to 15 members in just 1.5 years! It's been inspiring to see the team's dedication and collaborative spirit drive our success. 3. Australia: A Strategic Market for Trina: I'm proud to reveal that Australia is now a key strategic market for Trina's Integrated Solutions Business Unit (ISBU). Our ambitious target is to develop 6.5 gigawatts of renewable energy in Australia over the next 4 years. Exciting times ahead as we contribute to the country's sustainable energy future! 4. Pride in Trina's Culture and Achievements: Taking a moment to express my pride in the incredible team, the positive culture we've fostered, and the significant achievements at Trina. This comes from staying true to the mission of a Sustianable world, enjoying the successes, being generous with future generations to inspire them, collaborating with fellow pioneers and enjoying success. In my little corner of decarbonised heat, the single most important collaboration will be with the electricity sector. There simply aren’t sources of heat large enough or well enough located to be described as “Prêt à chauffer”. There are plenty of things we can harvest heat from with heat pumps of all shapes and sizes BUT they all need electricity whether heating to 50C for houses, 75C for cities or 140C for the bulk of industry. What I hope the next phase brings now the techniques in all of these are proven is the closer thinking between generation of electricity with its vagaries and the strategic consumption by heat pumps - perhaps to storage thereby supporting highs and lows of electrical generation. Ideally the rules around grid will recognise this linkage and allow variable pricing for strategic and viable offtake. If not it will be private wire which is better than stagnation. And if two industries work more closely together…….. We can have an even bigger celebration 🎉 +

I recently celebrated my second work anniversary at Vanguard Building Solutions - Energy Services ... and what a ride it has been! Here are some of my favorite moments: - 🏭 Achieved a personal milestone of 30,000 tons of CO2 avoided through clean energy projects - 🎇Vanguard celebrates its 10th year in business! - 💹Established the Utility Programs division as one of VBS' three main verticals - 🕴 Had the pleasure of meeting folks at the forefront of the clean energy industry at the KEEA/EEA-NJ and R.E.C.E.S.S. 23 conferences. - 🤝 Partnered with incredible companies to continue the growth of the clean energy industry in the Northeast, Midwest, and beyond. - 🏦 Continued to work with various women- and minority-owned enterprises, implementing dozens of indoor air quality projects throughout NJ. - 👨🏾💼 Promoted to Director of Energy & Utility Programs. And it was only the beginning!
