For the second year in a row, L'Oréal took 5th place in the Universum global ranking of business students’ most attractive employers. In the US specifically, we moved up 4 places! Students recognize L’Oréal for our people-centric culture that encourages professional and personal growth through job mobility and early responsibility, a diverse and inclusive work environment and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. This recognition is incredibly meaningful to us as it reflects our company’s longstanding commitment to the future leaders of the world. Our team takes particular pride in our actions as part of L'Oréal for Youth, a global initiative that focuses on developing the employability of young people, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds and underserved minorities. Among the many #upskilling priorities we have at L'Oreal IT Americas, learning a new language for both career and personal reasons is one we have included in this year's learning roadmap. Our talent is found across several North-, Central-, and South American countries, and they collaborate amongst each other on a day-to-day basis. For that, we're proud to prioritize our zone's language/cross-cultural development; because to realize our global #beautytech ambition, it's essential that our #diverse populations find every possible way to work #bettertogether. We greatly appreciate Ed Rosheim - Owner, Workplace Languages and his team's partnership in putting together very engaging and effective curricula for our cohort. Thank you, Ed, for helping us make this happen - and an even bigger congratulations to our summer students who enrolled!

This week, I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of @L’Oreal USA’s new West Coast HQ in El Segundo, California. I’m so proud of our IT teams who worked tirelessly, shoulder to shoulder with the entire project team, (against major supply chain delays!) to ensure the new space is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and designed for the future of work. Partners in Sustainability and Employee Centricity, L’Oréal West is our first Wifi only office location, utilizes smart print technology to reduce paper consumption, has nearly 60 conference and huddle rooms that leverage Microsoft Teams technology, features all-in-one monitors on all desks and built a best-in-class IT kiosk for employee service requests. Strong IT systems and partnerships support collaboration and innovation! This week I was able to join our talented team in California to celebrate the official opening of L'Oréal USA’s West Coast headquarters in El Segundo. The 100,000 square foot state-of-the-art campus is home to our West Coast brands—NYX Professional Makeup, Pulp Riot, Urban Decay and Youth to the People. We’re thrilled to have our teams together under one roof. Not only is the site beautiful, but it houses L'Oréal's first-ever west coast-based Professional Products Academy, offering education and connection to the professional beauty community. As an organization focused on learning and development, this is particularly exciting. L’Oreal USA has taken great strides to reimagine the future of work and we recognize the important role our worksites play in the employee experience. This campus reflects our efforts and is designed to foster a positive work experience with a focus on collaboration, technology, health and wellness.   I want to give a big shout out to the many team members who worked so tirelessly to make this vision a reality.
