The crows saw the moving truck yesterday and freaked out. They told EVERYONE I am leaving. Some of them decided to sit and watch while they had their meltdowns. They were very upset. I spent years building that relationship and they showed me how much it all meant to them. So yea I had a cry later that night. They are so smart, probably smarter than we give them credit for. Crows could figure out the context of the vehicle, what I was doing with it, and what it meant for them. They were intelligent enough to figure out they were affected by it emotionally. These tiny dinosaurs showed I meant more to them than most humans I know have ever shown me. Out of everything I lost, this one I lose the most.

I'm sorry for your loss! I hope to one day see a reunion update if you get to visit the crows again. Good luck with the move!

How far are you moving and will you visit them later? I used to feed them on my lunch around work, after that contract I am in that area occasionally, years later they still remember me. I think it is their kids now. What did you feed them?

There have been videos of corvids actually mourning for their dead, similar to humans. They’re incredibly intelligent.

I’m sorry you are losing this relationship. No way they could follow you to the ne place? I hope you can find a new Murder to befriend.

They honestly might follow you if you developed the relationship enough. Crows have been known to do that.

Those birds are definitely more aware than we realize. That is so sad to have to say goodbye.

Corvids are terrifyingly intelligent. They absolutely will miss you
