Here is something I have been wanting to share about my cofounder Saurabh Agrawal. For all intents and purposes, I would call him a missionary. During his past stints, Saurabh had tinkered around enough, with several problems in the evolving billing space, and also built an in-house billing infrastructure at his previous startup. He had distinctive opinions on what an ideal billing infrastructure should look like, and imagined that there had to be some billing solution out there that would match this opinion. But the reality was far from it. To put it in his own words, we didn't even know that this was the state of affairs in today's landscape of billing automation. Something he was casually trying to envision in 2016 still doesn't exist even today. Hack 101: Work Closely with Users from Day 1! 2 years ago, we founded Bliro directly out of university - with the vision to turn conversations into actionable data, but without a real clue how our potential users actually work. Therefore, we talked to almost 200 sales and customer success professionals before even writing the first lines of code.
