Today, I am announcing that the UW System has a new identity: the Universities of Wisconsin.
Love it President Rothman! The "Universities" educated all of our Keating family of 12 children (our parents were both Badgers - class of '39 and '41). Between us we have 18 degrees - 3 MBAs, 1 MSW, 1 Masters in Engineering, 1 Ph D in Civil Engineering, several business degrees (including our mother Mary Lou Zander) and a couple of social work & nursing degrees tossed into the mix. Thank you to the "Universities of Wisconsin" for making college not only achievable financially, but you empowered us to be highly successful in our careers and lives. On (all of) Wisconsin!
Jay ... I love it!! As a proud University of Wisconsin graduate as well as attending the UW Center - Fond du Lac where I got my start earning an Associates Degree ... I "identify" :)
I like the new branding. You should also update your profile.
Love it. Congratulations.
Nice work on the rebranding/repositioning!
Excellent rebranding initiative that acknowledges collaboration and commitment. Congratulations, Dr. Jay Rothman
Jay Rothman time to change your title to President of the Universities of Wisconsin
Great name President Rothman! Succinct and puts all the campuses on the same footing. Congratulations to all involved.
Well done Jay Rothman!
Emeritus Assistant Vice Chancellor/Business Services & Controller at UW-Madison
10moNext step may be to ask if, considering the size and population of the State of Wisconsin, are there too many Universities of Wisconsin in the State of Wisconsin? Probably a question for an unbiased blue ribbon commission; however, before reacting to this controversial message, consider how many state universities are in comparable Midwest states having comparable populations and age demographics.
