Jaume Argerich’s Post

I had the pleasure to participate in the EIT Food Founders Day in Bilbao. Great venue at San Mamés and the BAT B Accelerator Tower (former HQ of BBVA). Food is an interesting segment to be in these days. Just reconvering from the delivery crazy days, several science based projects are emerging. It is also one sector where Europe has a relative lead. As a panelist we addressed the challenge of this transition for investors. Maybe the typical VC fund with the 8/20 structure is not the best way to invest in such projects, that can deliver good MOIC but are not so great in IRR terms. Today I met with the entrepreneurs starting the Seedbed acceleration program, setting the milestones and getting to know each other. Looking forward to work with you during the next 6 months.
