This outrageous question from Helena Humphrey BBC News is the microcosm of the difference between understanding Israel's war on Hamas and completely distorting it. It's the difference between truth and lies. BBC and others who have been criticizing Israel for its rescue operation fail to accept the harsh reality that this is the method of Hamas (or they try to completely cover it up). Murder, rape, torture & burn Israelis. Kidnap many and have Palestinian "civilians" hold them hostage (many in unspeakable, horrific conditions). Embed terrorists & weapons within & fight from civilian areas.  Then blame Israel when Israel succeeds in rescuing hostages. To the extent innocent civilians were killed in the rescue attempt, that is very sad.  But the fault lies squarely with Hamas.  Not Israel. It is because Hamas stole these people on Oct 7.  It is because Hamas has kept them captive since Oct 7 (and in some cases "Palestinian civilians" have kept them captive).  It is because Hamas & "Palestinian civilians" used weapons to try to prevent Israel from rescuing the captives. If anyone would not want their government to do the same thing Israel did to rescue their citizens & loved ones they are lying. Shame on BBC Shame on Helena Humphrey Shame on Josep Borrell the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of EU Commission who condemned the rescue & called it "another massacre" and a "bloodbath" As voters across the European Union vote in the European parliamentary elections keep in mind what those who represent you believe. The legitimacy of the European Commission is affected by the European Parliament. Ask yourself if you would want your government to save you if you were held hostage by terrorists or if you want a government that would let you languish month after month after month in unspeakable conditions.

Give us a break Ayman Mohyeldin of MSNBC. If your spouse, mother, father, daughter, son or other loved one was one of those hostages, would you have wanted your government to do the exact same thing Israel did? Or would you tell the government to wait in the hope that maybe Hamas will agree to a deal & wait while your loved one is held under likely unspeakable conditions by terrorists & “civilians” for months on end & hope they’re still alive in the end. Answer - YES or NO & don’t lie. And if you answer NO please share your answer with all your loved ones. And not a word in your report about Hamas & Palestinian “civilians” firing weapons trying to stop the rescue & how many of the dead could have been avoided if Hamas didn’t embed in civilian populations & hold hostages in civilian areas.

What do people think President Trump would do if he was occupying The White House while this hatred was spewed & these people were pleading for a terrorist group to “kill another Zionist now”?

Yaakov Katz did a great job fending off absolutely ridiculous questions from Martine Croxall on BBC. If you want to understand Israel’s war on Hamas BBC News is not the place to go.
