With a team spread across 16 different countries finding ways to spend quality time together can be challenging. Yesterday we threw our Hey-lloween party at Hey Digital 🎃 This is the 2nd time we've done this and this year it was bigger and better than ever! With team trivia, a costume contest, and a virtual escape room game we all had so much fun! Laughter echoed through our virtual halls. We saw creativity in the costumes. We shared stories, laughs, and a few harmless scares 👻 And this is the magic of celebration. It's not just about the party — it's about creating an environment where people feel valued, connected, and motivated. Something that has become so important to me when building this team. If you're leading a team, go ahead and throw that party that you've been thinking about. Celebrate that milestone. It's not a distraction. It's often fuel for better outcomes. 🚀 Remember, a team that celebrates together, innovates together. Don’t ignore the human need to connect and rejoice. It’s the secret sauce to a thriving team and a booming business. Thanks to everyone at Hey Digital for bringing the energy yesterday, I had so much fun!

Celebrating my 5 year anniversary at Peak this week 🥂 It's been one hell of a journey. In 2019, I was drawn to the potential of AI to transform businesses and industries, and Peak has provided a platform to make a real impact. Over the past 1,825 days, I'm proud to have: • Facilitated hundreds of AI workshops and executive masterclasses • Led the technical scoping and business case creation for 60+ successfully deployed enterprise AI solutions across diverse markets • Contributed to the development of packaged AI products • Built and led commercial teams through turbulent times…including a Series C funding round, a pandemic, global conflicts, and a software industry crash • Designed effective GTM and sales strategies • Learned invaluable lessons from many successes, many setbacks, and many mistakes • Collaborated with brilliant minds at Peak and within the broader data & AI ecosystem • Travelled the world, got married and welcomed two beautiful children into my life! 5 years on, the person I am today is very different to the one that waited nervously in the reception of Peak HQ, taking a few deep shaky breaths before hitting the button up to the 12th floor of Neo. Something that remains unchanged: a relentless drive to learn. There is so much to learn. Bring on the next 1,825 days!

I joined Statsig later than I hoped, but I still saw its three-year journey. 2020 was important for me. I became a better data scientist -- effective, pragmatic, and ironically, "are right, a lot" -- one of Amazon's leadership principles that I found most puzzling.  A big reason was building the conviction of the value of data through AB testing. After 6 years in PhD and 2 years at Amazon, I doubted if data really helped businesses. At Facebook, I learned it does. I used data to make key decisions and prove them with experiments. Such conviction is still paying dividends today. Facebook's AB testing tool was great, but I couldn't talk about it much. It was internal. When Vijaye R. started a company to make a similar tool, I interviewed him (https://lnkd.in/gGRqTjRg) and asked for a demo (https://lnkd.in/gnA_cjpy). Rewatching it today, you will find that the product has matured a LOT, but the technical insights and the mission remain the same. I believed in this business a lot, maybe more than most of the founding members. This tool needs to be built, and they're the right people for it. I wished them luck and continued my journey. Two years later, with all the learning and growth, I was back. It almost felt like gravity. Because Statsig is about the mission all along -- make data useful.
