Wow this is exciting to say - we're hiring a Sales Director at Open Supply Hub!
Why is this cool?
OS Hub is a super fascinating type of organization - yes, we're a non-profit but we're also a SaaS tool. We offer and develop premium products that we charge for (on top of our free, public good), but those products are still very mission-focused. Not only are our premium products critical to our organization's strategy, they are also critical systemically as they play a valuable role in scaling the adoption of mindsets around openness, interoperability and collaboration in creating safe and sustainable supply chains.
What this role is?
A nice mix of high level strategy work - from how we frame/price our products, to the development of new ones - with actual sales and relationship management. As a Director at OS Hub, I can speak very highly of this mix - you get to zoom out at a high level, but you also get to stay close to the work and get stuff done. I'm never, ever bored.
What this role isn't?
A plug and play sales role where you get a deck and take it from stakeholder to stakeholder. Nor is it a strategy-only position - we need someone who is happy to get into the weeds, too. Our model and mission is unique enough that best practices alone aren't going to cut it - being able to take theory and best practice and apply it to the specific stakeholders and markets in which we operate is going to be a big part of the work.
Also, I'll just add that Natalie F. Grillon is pretty phenomenal to work for.
Are you someone who brings a healthy mix of experience and expertise, with the desire to learn and experiment based on the audience and situation at hand? Take a look and apply if this speaks to you:

3wGreat work and also amazing idea and strategy you are implementing there in ThredUp. In fitguardian, we create technology that automates the process of measuring and photographing for, among others, secondhand apparel, where most SKUs are single, unique products. I believe it can also blow resale socks off!
