“AI is bullshit” For year folks on the business side have been skeptical of “machine learning and AI” Remember when all the email tools added “AI” features that recommended the ideal time to send out your campaigns? Okay fine, those capabilities, like many of the features touted as AI over the previous decade weren’t really AI at all. But now, with generative AI and the LLM revolution blowing up is that all going to change - seems so. From seeding content ideas to co-piloting coding, AI is finding its way, and being embraced, into peoples’ workflows. For example, the other day I saw the a post about the decline in Stack Overflow traffic since many of these LLM solutions became publicly available. So AI is definitely no longer bullshit. What I’m really getting at is that marketers, sales people, and developers don’t view AI with the skepticism and contempt they once did. They have seen its capabilities. The question however remains, will people trust “AI” when it recommends a course of action that doesn’t align with their own instincts or preconceived biases.  #artificialintelligence #llms #marketingautomation

I'd like to try and identify different semantic elements on a screenshot of a website such as: lists, headings, radio button groups, buttons, links, navigation menus. I can't get GPT4 vision to do this reliably and consistently so I'm thinking a more specific model is needed. Any idea of a good AI tools/models for this? I can't find anything on hugging face. At least I would like to have a good dataset to start with but same story, I cant find anything on kaggle/hugging face. Post below if you can help! 👇

Two great AI uses today. Today my 8th graders are planning personal trips with a friend (pretending they are 22 so they can rent a car) and I have advised them to seek advice of AI. Talk about where they want to go and the kinds of things they like and see what suggestions it has. Some are using perplexity, some Bing chat or Google Bard. Also, Dall-e which is built into Bing chat is great at making logo mock ups! I am amazed!
