It is that magical time of year where everyone is invested in the NFL and people are passionate about their teams. I am one of the first to say that Sundays in the fall and winter are meant for the NFL, and especially the Green Bay Packers, but we also must remember that life doesn’t stop for sports. It is fun to have some friendly competition in the workplace like fantasy football and maybe even some friendly wagers, but we also need to remember how far is too far. The spirit of competition is to compete with good sportsmanship and be gracious no matter the result. As leaders of the organization, both managers and HR professionals, we must set the tone and example for the staff to follow. Let’s not have any degrading wagers like we see in that Allstate Commercial. Our workplaces don’t need mayhem like that. Go-Pack-Go
