I had such an incredible experience this past weekend at the Queen's Feminist Leadership In Politics Conference. To list just some of the amazing women I got to hear from: Caroline Cochrane (Premier of the Northwest Territories), Bernadette Clement (Senator), Margaret Dawn Anderson (Senator, Public Servant, and Indigenous Rights Advocate), Sonia Edmonds (Managing Partner, Innovation & Change for BDO Canada), Fallon Farinacci (Speaker, Survivor, and Advocate for MMIWG), Qajaq Robinson (Former Commissioner of the National Inquiry of MMIWG), Pam Hrick (Executive Director and General Counsel at Women's Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF)), and Christine Elliott (Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health for Ontario.) This list is far from complete which gives you an idea of how many strong and inspiring women spoke. I am so grateful to QFLIP and these female leaders for taking the time to speak in Kingston and share their wisdom. #Ignite2023
