The secret about our platform and what it offers is out - and that's a GREAT thing!

⚠ Long post warning (but I think it's worth it to stick around til the end)... ⚠ One of my favorite parts about my role with Growth Collective is the opportunity to connect with founders and high-level start-up executives daily. Yesterday, I had the chance to connect with Cooper Foster, who amongst many other worthy titles, is the founder of Paige Pond Partners. Cooper and I discussed many things, but there was a point in our conversation that I thought was super insightful, and it’s something I hear all too often. While discussing different potential areas of marketing support, Cooper (I’m paraphrasing here) said… 🗣 “I probably could figure out how to do all of these things, but I don’t really have the time or the desire to do so.” My response? 🗣 “NOR SHOULD YOU!” 📣 PSA: There are waaaaaay too many marketing channels, tools, strategies, etc. that exist in the year 2023 for any ONE individual to master and/or manage... much less a founder or CMO with a whole lot of other stuff going on. The day of the A-Z, all-in-one marketing generalist is over. Digital marketing channels have become more complex, martech tools have expanded, and platforms are continually changing. What's the result? Marketing experts have begun to specialize. 👉 Founders... - You don’t have to spread yourself too thin anymore. - You don’t have to put all of your eggs in one basket when it comes to bringing on a full-time marketing hire. - You definitely do not need to burden yourself with trying to learn the best-in-class approach for every marketing channel. 🔑 Premium fractional marketers may come at a cost, but the investment in experts could prove to be well worth it when it comes to the headspace you create for yourself, the freedom you receive in delegating, and the return that comes from partnering with an expert in their field. 🥂 Cheers to self-aware and proactive founders like Cooper for breaking the mold, and platforms like Growth Collective for striving to help bring about the growth our partners are looking for, minus the burnout and headaches that typically come with it. #digitalmarketing #startup #freelancers #marketplaces #fractional #freelancemarketing #growthcollective

I'm a big believer in the concept of MANUFACTURED MOMENTUM. ⚒ In layman's terms, "manufacture" essentially means "TO MAKE". In my (humble) opinion, good companies, organizations, teams, individuals, etc. wait for the momentum to come from their base-level value props and service offerings and then try to ride the wave as long as possible. 🌊 The great ones seek to CREATE this momentum for themselves. 🏄♂️ Speaking of "riding the wave", if you surf, you know that putting yourself in position for the best wave of the set requires you to do some extra paddling. You may get lucky every once in a while and find the perfect shoulder by staying where you are at...but chances are, you are missing out on a ton of fun waves in the process. As we are amid the holiday glaze and looking forward to a brand new year, I'm curious... ❓ ❓ How are you proactively working to manufacture momentum with your partners, clients, teammates, and peers? If only there was a platform that existed with access to best-in-class, fractional marketing talent that could pave the way for these contractor-to-full-time hires... 🤔 🤔 🤔 Oh wait... there's Growth Collective ✅ 😃 Love this post by Alex Lieberman. Fractional employment strategies are a win-win for all parties involved, and an approach that all organizations should consider in this economic environment. The contractor maintains the flexibility and autonomy that most are rightfully pursuing in this day and age, while the employer receives specialized support to validate growth levers while paying a fraction of the cost. Best case scenario? It's a match made in heaven and you can enter into a full-time relationship from there! This has been the outcome of several partnerships initiated through Growth Collective - just something to think about! 💭 🤯
