I'm not saying participation trophies are the answer, but....my thoughts on the Niners Super Bowl: You have to take action, you have to participate to gain the skills needed to "finish the job": I understand for the Niners, it was all about "Super Bowl or bust this year (every year)". But, when you come in 2nd or even 1st...it's about the skill acquisition along the way: -Getting the reps to execute in those moments -How to prep and adjust in those moments -How to close/win in those moments Just my takeaway and how to approach my current role. Get the reps and slow down the game to "finish the job". There's so much beauty in the skill acquisition, then yes...you can/will finish the job.
