Thought leadership – a term often thrown around but seldom truly understood. As the National Director of Climate Investments, it's not just a role, it's a commitment to shaping narratives, challenging norms, and driving change. Yet, amidst accolades and accomplishments, I find myself facing a curious question: Why the abundance of opportunities? Could it possibly stem from graduating with honors from Spelman College, earning a juris doctorate, delving into public health, or becoming a Fulbright scholar and a Yale University - William J. Clinton fellow? Perhaps it's the tumultuous journey of navigating policy in startup-laden regions for the unicorn of all start-ups or the wealth of experience garnered across 30 countries and 5 continents over two decades. Could it be the doctoral dissertation on artificial intelligence or presiding over the environmental commission in one of America's most progressive cities? Let's not forget the Jefferson award for Public Service or the fluency in multiple languages. But here's the crux: A thought leader is not a finished product; they are constantly learning, studying, and evolving. So, before asking why someone gets to where they are, ask yourself: Are you committed to learning and evolving as a thought leader? Let's not just question success, let's strive to emulate it through continuous growth and innovation. And let's never forget what Young Jeezy and Lil Jon famously said about "dem haters," and embrace their wisdom. Let's continue pushing boundaries, embracing challenges, and inspiring change together! #ThoughtLeadership #EmbraceTheHaters #ChallengeTheNorms

Embracing challenges is key to growth! 🌱 Like Socrates said - wisdom begins in wonder. Let’s keep innovating and learning in our journeys. #Inspiration #Innovation
