Last night, my wife, another couple, and I attended the Noah Kahan concert at Fiddler's Green. Initially, tickets were around $500 each, so we planned to listen from the parking garage. However, the police soon asked us to leave. Determined, we wandered around the venue and ended up at the box office. With a quarter of the show already over, I asked if they had any discounted tickets. They quoted $400 each, which was a confident NO from my wife and I. After some negotiation, we scored four tickets for $500 TOTAL, just 25 rows from the stage! Two key takeaways from this experience: 1. It’s always a "NO" unless you ask—negotiation can lead to unexpected opportunities. 2. Never assume someone's motivation to "sell"—the ticket office had four tickets left for a "sold-out" show and they gave us a massive discount. What an unforgettable night!
Looking swoll, Jack. Or is it that your arm is just close to the camera? 😉
That's awesome! You never know what can happen from a "no" 😃
Such an amazing show. Glad you were able to utilize your negotiation skills to make it happen. Great seeing you Monday!
It was a good one! We we're there as well
