SkyBridge AZ Progress Report!  Vertical construction of two 250,000 SF class A industrial buildings is well underway at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. Both buildings will be complete in early 2024 and construction teams are hard at work to deliver the infrastructure and roadway network to support this vast 360-acre aeronautical business park.  Check out the video to see how the project is progressing. SkyBridge will soon begin construction on a new taxilane, which will unlock more than 200 acres of aeronautical land for #AirCargo operations, #MRO, and a variety of aviation-related users. Welcome to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, Gulfstream Aerospace! This $70-million project is a great addition to our airport and the first development announced for the east side. Gulfstream will construct a 225,000-square-foot MRO facility to service their expansive fleet of aircraft. The new facility will be open in 2023 and will join the multiple service centers and MROs at Gateway. We’ve got a cab! On Monday, crews placed the final steel structure, the cab, onto the new tower making the structure an impressive 174ft tall! Now begins the process of all the interior work. Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, equipment and so on. With the East Valley skyline already changed, it’s hard to believe there is still a year’s worth of hard work ahead before the tower is operational.
