" Good day Mr Mhlongo, how did you enter the job Market of Sales and became one of the top Sales Assistant in your Organization under your region?" At some point, Few years ago I was a random person walking with CVs up and down applying and No one took a chance on me, until I spoke to a Regional Controler from Lewis Group Ltd took a chance on me... and I made sure he never regreted hiring me up to date. Dear Recruiters, I was 0 experienced in sales but I became a 🌟 star through a gamble, Juniors don't have experience unless you offer it to them.. #jobalert #jobseekers #organization #salescoaching #salesdevelopment #growthmindset #growthmarketing

How’s this for a career?!? What comes to mind when you think of a person in sales…let me guess…slick hair, cliché opening lines followed by an immediately “pressure to buy” pitch?!? (This is certainly what my impression was when I was in the corps) Not the case anymore. One word. Communication. Type into any search engine, “highest paid jobs without a degree” and I guarantee, it would be a job involving sales. Whether it’s cars, carpets or ironing boards, there’s a consumer market out there for almost anything. The best thing with flooring is that people are approaching you for advice and guidance, that’s sales in a nutshell. Gone are the days of misguided advise to make a cheap sale. People are asking you how to achieve their dream home and what it will cost. As a salesperson, you’re simply a bridge to them achieving that goal. We want new blood in our ranks. Someone that has charisma, initiative, ambition and (most importantly) personality! Naturally, I’m gravitating towards the cloth from which I was cut, and focusing on Royal Marines looking to transition to civvi street. I’m part of a recruitment campaign for a flooring company called Tapi. With 175+ stores nationwide, there’s nothing but opportunity being offered here. Working for Tapi has motivated me to levels of aspiration that I have not seen since my time as a Bootnecks. I only wish to make other resettling Bootnecks aware of this astonishing career path! Once again… NO FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS! HIGH PAY WITH ON-TARGET-EARNINGS! NO COMMISSION CAP! SKILLS NEEDED: COMMUNICATION!!! If you’re interested or know of an oppo that might be, please DM me and I’ll give more details on pay, job roles, locations etc. #tapi #sales #royalmarines #royalmarinecommando #business #recruitment #flooring

This is what I do: 🐔 I find people careers not jobs. On average the Taylor-Miller hire is promoted after 2 years 🐔 87% of people I get to final interview accept the job and start it 🐔 The average Taylor-Miller hire gets promoted twice 🐔 94% of my business is repeat. Because I do what I say I’m going to do 🐔 53% of my animals are chickens And I’ve got 10 years working as Taylor-Miller Ltd to back this up. I don’t pretend to be an expert in what you do, I focus on being an expert at what I do. Finding the best people for your company. Because that’s what you need me to be 🐔 #fmcg #hiring #culture #chickens

People Connector | Career Matchmaker | Insurance Geek 😉 A recruiter to know if you're an insurance professional sick of hiring/job search BS. 👊
Hiring can move craaaaazy quick in this market. If you love a candidate for a role, offer them the job, and make it good. I spoke with an awesome candidate on Friday. I submitted her to my client that same afternoon. (Offices closed Monday for the holiday). I sent her interview times Wednesday morning. I heard back from her Wednesday evening that she'd had an interview that day with another company. They thought she was a great fit and offered her the job on the spot. They gave her a great offer and a signing bonus to seal the deal and shut down any other offers. Boom. I like that company already and I don't even know them. 😆 This market moves F A S T. 🏃♀️ ✅ Streamline your process. ✅ Conduct the interview promptly. ✅ If there are multiple folks involved in the interview process, stack them close together vs. drawing out over several days or weeks. ✅ Make a strong, enticing offer, and let the candidate know how excited you are for them to join you. Lock it down as soon as you know. 👊 If you love them, other companies will too. #hiring #recruiterlife #insurancesales #insurancejobs #cic #cpcu #insurancecareer #accountmanager #accountexecutive #insurance

If you’re someone who’s easily spooked by the job seeking process, rest assured you’re not alone. Last week, we asked our network what they think is the most frightful aspect of looking for a new role, and here are the results – fangs to all who took part! 🦇 Do you agree with these results? What do you find the most bone-chilling part of looking for a new job, and why? Let us know in the comments! #Poll #JobSeekers #Hiring #WorkWithGlee

Today marks my 3-year anniversary at Jobber, and while I'm always happy to celebrate this milestone, this year feels particularly monumental. So, I've decided to share my story and offer some advice. Leaving the fashion industry was a leap into the unknown. I craved change, challenges, and a company that valued me for who I am, not for how well I fit into a predefined culture. But, how does one start over at 30, especially with a background exclusively in fashion? It was Puneeta McBryan who suggested I apply at Jobber during a conversation about my ideal work culture. We've been friends since our teens, but this is, without a doubt, the best advice she's ever given me. During the interview process, I chose to be unabashedly myself - "full-send" Amy, if you will. I recall my initial interviews with Justine Burns, where I somehow managed to mention both ghosts and margaritas. Yet, she still hired me. Looking back, I realize Justine is a true embodiment of Jobber's culture, and she knew I'd fit right in. Eight months in, I sent a bold DM to our new Director, Security, Brian Masson. After seeing him present, I knew I wanted to work in his team. Security had always intrigued me, but I doubted my resume and experience. My message was along the lines of, "Can we have a coffee and discuss the role, so I don't waste anyone's time applying for a job I'm unlikely to get?" I could wax poetic about how that coffee meeting (and Brian) transformed my life - because it did. I didn't land the role I initially applied for, but I was given a chance to work towards it. Reflecting on these three years, I realize that embracing change, being authentically yourself, and taking risks can lead to amazing places. To anyone standing at a crossroads, unsure of their next step: believe in yourself, be open to change, and never underestimate the power of a simple coffee meeting.
