A fantastic opportunity to spend time amongst them. ☺️ Personal highlights: - a future casting workshop in crisis management by Bundesministerium der Verteidigung - the lovely workhop on inclusive design by Prof. Daniela Hensel & Stefanie Voß from why does robin on the river Spree (thank you @marine crew for this top location and safe sailing!) - the opening keynote from Dr. Marco Buschmann - the exhibits & people working hard to reduce bureaucracy within the Bundeswehr And all those lovely moments of bumping into old friends, colleagues and project partners. Record-breaking demand for #FIA2024! ✈️ The forthcoming edition of the Farnborough International Airshow in 2024 is reporting record-breaking demand for exhibition space, sponsorship packages and marketing activations. Over 90% of commercial exhibition spaces and chalets are reserved and sold across the show site, with only a handful of self-build stands remaining across the show’s four exhibition halls. Just the thought that the congress has 5000 pax with around 40 rooms and 4500 abstracts make people crazy. Is it complicated? Sure. Is it worth the experience? Definitely. “Normal” people will ask me what do I like about it? I love the speed, I love that whatever is needed to be solved, the team solves fast, but really fast. If it can’t be done by one person, than it’ll be done by three, and that two more will appear at the right place in the right time. Yesterday I talked with a friend of mine, he is military, and I loved the idea that the way they work every single day is completely the same as if it was an emergency. Event management can’t be compared to the military field in any case, but the idea of having a well planned system for every day so the stressful field of the congress “in situ” doesn’t influence on you that much, seems to my mind completely argumental. By the way, I’m NOT talking about being in a constant hurry, I’m talking about better planned communication, good prioritizing and fast reaction, without forgetting about high respect towards your colleagues and their working rhythm. Balance is always complicated but motivated by strict lines and wish for a great result seems to be reachable… At least this year SEMERGEN Nacional in Valencia proved it to me once more. #eventmanagement #eventmanager #organizadoradeeventos #spain #españa
