If your Health Care SYSTEM has issues which are causing system-instability connect with me.. >15 years experience of aligning systems with Mission!
Healthcare costs in Oregon are on the rise; recent reveal by DCBS suggests that in the Small-Group Health Insurancd Market Providence Health Plan has the highest rate increase request: 16.3% [increase] approx: $460/month - This is a harbinger of things to come; medical errors due to SYSTEM problems are not monitored by DCBS; #CMS & other Federal agencies do monitor system-failures and have been providing reports for the last 50 years, with the hope of making hospitals SAFE! Jeremy Lynn Laurie Kelley #Providence #SystemScience #SystemFailure #Heathcare #Medicare #Medicaid Why health insurance companies are avoiding use of AI to monitor services, in real time, delivered in hospitals & ambulatory care???
I’m thrilled to share that Providence is investing $177 million to tackle Portland's most pressing health care challenges. Thank you to the Portland Business Journal - Candace Beeke, Suzanne Stevens and Elizabeth Hayes - for lifting up this important story today. These urgent improvements will create faster, better care for more people: adding the equivalent of a new emergency department for our city, and expanding and enhancing emergency and critical cardiac care across Providence St. Vincent, Providence Heart Institute and Providence Portland Medical Center. More than 80% of these developments are being funded by the generosity of donors! Philanthropy allows us to further excellent care for all. Thank you to our donors who invest in the health of our communities, and to our caregivers who provide the highest quality care each and every day. If we’re going to create a brighter health care future for our region, we need to start today. #TomorrowStartsToday #ProgressThroughPhilanthropy #HealthforaBetterWorld https://bizj.us/1ql8ft

🏥THE NEED FOR NEW CAPITAL FUNDS HAS NEVER BEEN GREATER, WE'VE GOT TO GIVE THIS GREAT DOCTOR'S THE FACILITIES TO TAKE THE HOSPITAL OUT ON THE CUTTING EDGE OF RESEARCH AND THE MOST MODERN TREATMENT 🏥 ⤴️THE CAMPAIGN FOR CHILDREN'S FUNDING GOALS ⤵️ 🧨 After acareful assessment of funding potential and the prevailing economy, a private sector goal of 40 million was established, adding anticipated grants of 20 million provides a total of 60million. in summary the needs and the funding source are; ⚡New construction ⚡Research ⚡Clinical care. ⚡Renovation ⚡Medical equipment. ⚡Research equipment ⚡Emerging programs and technology funds. ⚡Two endowed Research chairs. ⛺📸 The campaign for CHILDREN'S is the foundation of our effort to respond to the growing crisis in child health today; the neglect, injury and illness that jeopardize the health and development of our children and, in turn, the well being of our community and our nation.the campaign will establish children as a national resource of clinical care, medical research and child health advocacy. ⛺📸 perhaps most importantly, the campaign will symbolize the realization that caring is more than medicine. that healing is more than mending the body, that PHYSICAL health means little without mental and emotional wellbeing, and that a future of damaged children is really no future at all.

CEO and founder of Helium Arts - Supporting the wellbeing of children living with lifelong physical health conditions
Delighted to have Helium Arts key findings from our 2023 Impact Report get a mention in the Irish Medical Times yesterday. Highlights from the report include the following: Of those surveyed- 84 per cent of children reported they felt happier when going to hospital and 100% of parents said that their child’s mood was positively impacted. Seeing their children happier meant that 98 per cent of parents reported their own mood was positively impacted while in the hospital waiting room. 97 per cent of medical professionals reported that their experience of delivering healthcare to children with lifelong physical health conditions was positively impacted. 51 per cent of community programme participants came from rural areas, 39 per cent were from disadvantaged backgrounds, and 53 per cent had a disability or additional needs, with research showing that children from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds and those who live in more rural areas face greater challenges due to lifelong physical health conditions. 100 per cent of parents and medical professionals reported that their awareness of the positive impact of arts and creativity for wellbeing was increased. https://lnkd.in/ef_9_Dce You can find the full report here: https://lnkd.in/eg-v383w

Today is #ClinicalTrialsDay. In a world where more and more information are, presumably, obtained through all sorts of tech solutions, #machinelearning, #bigdata #AI, there is still a need for "old fashion" trials. I have seen several times before where data driven analysis do actually produce interesting hypotheses, but how can we trust them? Clinical trials quantifies the #scientific procedure that is needed to find out IF there actaually is a real effect or just a coincidence. Good clinical trials also requires good data handling, data manipulation, analysis plans, procedures for analysis and reporting. #statistics #science
Today we are celebrating #clinicaltrialsday. https://lnkd.in/eDYjHMK

There is no doubting that we're in the infant stages of seeing what A.I. can do for us in healthcare. And we at Hucu.AI are huge advocates for its future... in the right places. We see a future where A.I. is a complement to what we as humans can do, not a replacement for that. Even if the technology reaches a point where it can mimic empathy, compassion, and general 'connectedness,' wouldn't the we all be better if it simply gave us the time and conditions to express more of that human-ness? We at Hucu.AI are focused on one thing; making the typically inefficient, friction-filled, and error-prone effort to communicate within healthcare efficient, frictionless, and accurate. By doing that we free nurses, nurse-practitioners, physicians, and all other allied health professionals involved in each unique patient's care to get back to caring for patients; to be human. We are confident A.I. will continue to proliferate healthcare. But we also believe its power is to allow us to have more time to connect and experience the intangible feeling that comes from sharing laughter, fear, and sadness, and do it with and for more patients. That's healthCARE. https://lnkd.in/dzQZxxA2 #postacutecare #HIT #skillednursing #physicians
