Our summer interns cooked up a good time at Vulcan! The team spent the day immersed in learning about Vulcan’s facility, products, and workplace culture! Vulcan’s Charlotte location focuses on crafting best-in-class commercial cooking equipment, such as fryers, griddles, and charbroilers. The day was spent with an in-depth tour of the facility and networking with current employees. During their visit, the group had the opportunity to be hands-on and make their own lunches using Vulcan equipment! The opportunity for our interns to explore another ITW company provides valuable insights into different aspects of ITW and the various divisions within the company. Reflecting on the incredible lessons learned during my internship at SnT Workshop Podanur As I reach the halfway point of my internship, I'm deeply humbled by the resilience and positivity of the individuals I've met at SnT Workshop Podanur. Every day, I witness firsthand the incredible strength of the human spirit as they navigate life's challenges. Seeing people with physical limitations overcome obstacles with such grace and determination puts my own challenges into perspective. Their unwavering resolve and positive outlook inspire me to approach my own struggles with renewed strength. During lunch breaks, I'm often moved by the beautiful connection between a blind man and his friend, navigating life together with ease. Their story reminds us of the power of human connection and the importance of overcoming obstacles together.
