On June 21, 2024, TCM Corporation Public Company Limited, together with its executives, employees, and Care the Wild partners, organized a CSR activity under the project "Plant Trees to Create Forests." This collaboration involved four parties: TCMC, the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Royal Forest Department, and the Ban Sok Luek community, who together planted 10 rai of forest at the Ban Sok Luek community forest in Kabok Tia Subdistrict, Noen Kham District, Chai Nat Province. This being able to use carbon credits to reduce its carbon emissions by 10%, this project also raises awareness about climate change among employees at all levels of the organization. Furthermore, it helps the surrounding communities to rely on and benefit from this forest. #royalthai_ #royalthaicarpets #wellbeing #sustainability #carbonemissionreduction #climatechange #tcm #hospitality #commercial #residential #carpetsinter #rtacoustic #rtstudio #carethewild #csr

"One Tree For One Baby" Good news! Good news! Good news! SESDO has announced a new project today. The project is "One Tree For One Baby". This is the first time in Bangladesh that any organization is going to work with such a project. SESDO has a big plan to keep this project going for life. First, SESDO will conduct the project in a specific area, and later, if the necessary funds are available, SESDO will work on this project throughout the country and even internationally in different countries, they promised. SESDO has started working to implement this dream project "One Tree For One Baby" to encourage everyone to protect the environment by increasing public awareness about how important environmental balance is for a beautiful future of a child and to come forward to protect environmental balance. When a child is born, we will gift a tree sapling to that child. And that must be a Swietenia or coconut tree seedling. We hope that this sapling will play a huge role in maintaining the balance of the environment. And will also turn into an economic asset for that child in the future. We are very proud to start this project “One Tree For One Baby”. We are very happy to be the first organization in Bangladesh to start such a project in Bangladesh. #climatesmartagriculture #climatesmartagroforestry #climatesmartagritourism #agritourism #agritourismvillagekatakhali #agritourismvillage #agriculture #climateresilience #farmers #foodsecurity #onetreeforonebaby #buildbackbiodiversity #usejuteproducts #naturebasedsolutions #mangroves #forestconservation #coastalliving #ecosystem #environmentalsustainability #climatechange #climateaction #salinity #CSA3 #protectwildlife #SESDO #sesdobd #Satkhira #Dhaka #Bangladesh #villagepeople Via: SESDO - Social and Environmental Sustainable Development Organization
