Good structure is important, but it's the people who make it great. I recently heard someone say, "it's about the structure not the people" and I couldn't disagree more. A good structure is nothing without the right people to execute it. Let's remember that success is the result of both, not one or the other. #teamwork #success #structure #people

#workforcedevelopment #futureleaders Working with youth and helping them achieve their dreams includes many aspects. Service to others is just one of the ways we have found is helpful.
Over 400 cars drove through Elgin Community College’s campus for the Northern Illinois Food Bank’s Mobile Market today, where local families received a trunk load of free food. I am so glad I was able to spend the morning loading food into cars with some of the great volunteers who happen to be members our Future Workforce Leaders program which is funded by Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership. Thank you Vicki and Sandy Klinkey for coordinating the effort! #communitycollege #impact #eccwdce #wioa #workforcedevelopment

Exciting developments in Mississippi! Every six weeks, leaders from public and private sectors convene at the Mississippi Action Learning Network (MALN) to collaboratively enhance services for the people of Mississippi. This peer group, comprising 15 leaders from various agencies, is making waves in advancing family economic mobility and addressing critical issues affecting Mississippians. Facilitated by Alex Figueroa, Assistant Director of Learning and Development at the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA), MALN provides a crucial platform for leaders to unite, share ideas and comprehensively understand their impact on Mississippi. APHSA plays a pivotal bipartisan role, supporting leaders from human services agencies to uplift individuals, families and communities nationwide. At the core of MALN's mission is generative leadership, innovative programming, customer-centered experiences, and community-focused education. As a pioneering state in advancing family economic mobility, MALN is addressing workforce development, talent acquisition, equitable pay scale transition and more. Learn more: https://wkkf.co/bgdc

At Brighton Our World, we often ponder an essential question: "Who will lead us tomorrow?" The answer lies in today's children, and our mission is to nurture these future leaders through compassion, community, and education. BOW is dedicated to building the leaders of tomorrow by instilling the values of generosity and service from a young age. Our programs, such as children helping children, not only teach kids how to give back but also the importance of empathy and understanding. These experiences are foundational in shaping thoughtful, proactive, and caring leaders who will navigate the challenges of the future with grace and determination. By supporting their growth through scholarships, educational initiatives, and community involvement, we ensure that these young minds receive the tools they need to succeed and make a difference. Our aim is not just to develop their academic skills but to foster a sense of responsibility and a commitment to making the world a better place. Join us as we invest in our children today, so they are ready to lead us into tomorrow.
