I am often on video, but I'll share a secret with you...I don't like the way I look on video or photos because I'm not photogenic.
But I love the person behind the face. That's not arrogance; that's self-love, and the Bible tells us to love others as we love ourselves.
And I like the person I've become. So I take a deep breath and turn the video camera on because I have a lot of experience in public speaking, a heartfelt message to deliver, and a passion to uplift my community.
Some people are gorgeous without any makeup and the camera just loves them. That's amazing; I love observing the different gifts God bestows on people.
Some have great looks. Some have loving hearts. Some have great athletic ability. Some have incredible genius or artistic talent. Many have a combination of these and other gifts.
Here's my suggestion: Be grateful for what God has given you, love and accept the person you are, be the best human being you can be to others, follow your passion, and live your life. Don't try to live anyone else's.
Life is precious—no matter what you look like. Even when you've just washed your hair in the shower! 😀
Do you love yourself and embrace the person you are? If so, tell me about that in the comments.
Stay Healthy, Happy, and Satisfied!
