This is a concept we firmly believe in and focus on at Smarty.Marketing. We see websites of all sizes ranking among their biggest competitors; companies that are sometimes many times larger than them. Something I always keep in mind when creating content for clients is something Google said back in 2019 (https://lnkd.in/e9w9-jN7): “We suggest focusing on ensuring you're offering the best content you can. That's what our algorithms seek to reward.” And Barry Schwartz’s post today proves that this quote is just as true today as it was back then. #contentmarketing #contentstrategy #content #seo
Google says it wants to reward the best content no matter the size of the website (large or small) - something Google has been saying for decades now https://lnkd.in/epjQhBnp even brought to life an old post from Matt Cutts #google #googlesearch #seo #googleseo

Google has released a new update. Linking to high-authority sites will no longer help you rank in search results. It is now important for everyone to focus on providing useful links that users will find helpful or beneficial. . . #seo #backlinks #highqualityservice #highquality #searchengineoptimization #google #googleseo #googleupdates

Actually, he's not exactly telling the truth; Linking to high authority websites is a good SEO strategy, but it is insufficient on its own. The most correct authorized link format should be as follows; -Choose a topic on which you do not give too much detail in your content. -Look at the search volume of this topic -If the search volume is high, that topic is suitable for linking. -Choose the anchor that best suits the user. Generally the best link type is Topical. -Now search Google for the anchor you are going to give again and choose an authoritative website based on the top SERP results. If you make authoritative links this way, you will create valuable content, but remember that having good content alone will not be enough if you are competing on a strong keyword. Content is important, Topic Flow is invaluable, but backlinks are everything. #SEO #backlink #contentmarketing #topicalflow #blogging #GoogleSERP

"Backlinks from high authority sites don't help in better rankings", says Google. This is huge, isn't it? Google's John Mueller has categorically stated that backlinks from high authority sites don't guarantee better rankings. Instead, links that are useful to your visitors, which add value to the end user could help you attain better rankings. The comment from Mueller has dispelled a common misunderstanding among SEOs, which was held for many decades. #seo #google #backlinks #Johnmueller

Are backlinks still a Crucial Factor for SEO? Though #Google no longer shows PageRank publicly, it still influences its algorithm. Let's see what some of the experts stated: #GaryIllyes: I think links are important, but I think people overestimate the importance of links. I don’t agree it’s in the top three. It hasn’t been for some time. #JohnMueller stated the following: My recommendation would be not to focus so much on the absolute count of links. There are many ways that search engines can discover websites, such as with sitemaps. You can read the detailed information in the post by #SearchEngineLand's James Allen 😊 https://lnkd.in/dYj3Mbv2
