"On this journey, no one cares if you live or die." Refugees and migrants endure extreme violence, human rights violations, and exploitation not just at sea, but also on land routes across #Africa towards the #Mediterranean. More people cross the Sahara Desert than the Mediterranean Sea, yet the dangers on these land routes are less documented. Together with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency and the Mixed Migration Centre (MMC), IOM outlines the horrors faced by people on the move and the needed protection responses, in this new report. "Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life".-Wayne Dyer
4dI think it’s an interesting list, but seeing quantities without population figures is a difficult fact to analyze. For example, the countries indicated have billions of inhabitants by 2022 at the top of the list: India 1,417 billion, China 1,412 billion, The Philippines 115.6 million, Pakistan 235 million and Bangladesh 171.2 million. But countries like El Salvador with only 6,336 million inhabitants as of 2022 with remittances of $ 6.9 billion as of 2022 could probably be placed in the top of remittances per inhabitant. And so the analysis would be more interesting.
