We had the honour of taking part in the 31st Annual Meetings of African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and the 3rd Africa-Caribbean Trade and Investment Forum, held in Nassau, Bahamas, from 12 to 15 June 2024. It was an enriching experience. We had fruitful discussions with leaders from all walks of life on trade and investment between Africa and the Caribbean.                                                   The concept of Global Africa was clearly illustrated during these exchanges, as an essential tool for strengthening the historical and economic links between Africa, the Caribbean and the Diaspora.                               This framework, which transcends geographical boundaries, provides a unified platform to bring African and Caribbean nations together for economic prosperity and self-determination.                                   African Desk reiterates its commitment to Global Africa, recognising its vital role in enhancing economic relations between Africa and the Caribbean.
