Every major activity involving human lives and/or finances should have a Plan B, Plan C, and a planned Failure Mode Analysis (FMEA). The Chilean miners' rescue in 2010 is a perfect example of this. 33 miners were trapped 2300 feet underground for 69 days, but thanks to a pre-planned action, they were successfully rescued. Evergold Corp. (TSX-V:EVER, OTC:EVGUF) has concluded its maiden drilling campaign at the road-accessible DEM prospect in central British Columbia. The campaign concluded on time, under budget and on target for a total of 947 metres (m) drilled in three holes from two pads 350m apart. Two holes, DEM23-01 & 02. were drilled due east from the first pad, and a single hole, DEM23-03, was drilled due west from the second. Each of the three holes intercepted variably calcareous fine-grained sedimentary rocks cut locally by metre-scale porphyritic dykes. The host rocks, and locally the dykes, strongly infused over core lengths of up to 20m by cross-cutting sulphide-bearing veinlets and veins, locally of semi-massive to massive character, along with associated disseminated sulphides. The aim of the RC drilling program at the Dateline Resources Limited Colosseum #Gold Mine in California is undertaking infill work as well as better defining the margins of mineralisation. The recently completed RC #drilling intersected mineralisation within the sedimentary and felsite breccia units in RC24-003 and RC24-004. Drilling is set to recommence at the large-scale Briggs Copper Project in Central Queensland. The initial focus is evaluation of potential higher-grade mineralisation in the contact zone between the granodiorite intrusion and enclosing volcanic sediments along the southwest margins of the Briggs Central resource. This will be an important component of a Scoping Study being undertaken in 2H 2024 by JV partner, Alma Metals. We are also proposing several drill holes into the Southern porphyry target during 2024, with potential to further boost the project’s mineral resources. In parallel, preparation is well advanced at the Bismarck project in PNG (Rio Tinto JV), where we are drill testing large-scale copper-gold targets at two localities: Willie Headwaters, assessing a porphyry system beneath areas of lithocap and Ndokowai where extensive skarn style mineralization is evident. #copper #drilling
