👩💻I help women execs identify, achieve and maintain the lifestyle they want, without the fear of running out of money, through online lifestyle financial planning and coaching.
It’s the weeeeekend baby… This little phrase takes me back to my youth and Friday mornings on the Gareth Cliff show on 5 FM. Driving to school with my dad, and then later, on my own, it signaled the start of something fun, fun with my friends, no work or school or varsity. Time to let loose and be carefree.. Now as a parent and husband, Friday mornings still give me those it’s the weeeekend baby, feels! Even though the weekend shenanigans are COMPLETELY different, I still love them. Time with my kids and wife, with an unconstrained mind, we all have this sense of freedom, where anything is possible, we almost give our selves permission to think freely about how we want to spend the next 2 days. For the kids it’s usually centered around some form of takeaway(pizza or McDonald’s) time at the park or beach(all day for both days if possible). For us it’s a later, slower start to the day, and then taking the kids on one of the outings, it’s a nice meal somewhere( not McDonalds), just time together mostly outdoors, involving food and a little bit of wine(or beer). I love that I love weekends, I love the work that I do and how I get to do it, but weekends really give me and my family that feeling that anything is possible. #mindfulliving #wellbeing #fulfillment #livingmybestlife #lifestylefinancialplanning #womeninfinance

Some ground rules to lay down before the Christmas party ⬇️🎅🎄first contact us for your free email/comms you can issue to all employees. Christmas is great excuse for everyone to let their hair down and have some fun. But there’s a few things you need to consider… Whether you’re in your usual working environment, or at a party that you have organised, it’s your responsibility to keep them safe and you’re also liable for any acts of discrimination, harassment and victimisation committed by your employees. So, before any festivities, it’s important to consider the following: #hrsupport #yourbusinessmatters #smallbusiness #christmasparty

Here I am enjoying the famous October UK sunshine 😉 Extra points if you know where I am... It's been half term in our neck of the woods so what have I been filling my time with? - A family birthday celebration with cupcakes and board games - 6hrs at an adventure farm with 12 children and adults - An evening trip to Ikea with an alien trail (to occupy my 6 year old) and fit around my 10 year old's bowling evening. - Reading 3 books - The Burning Girls by C.J Tudor, People Like Her by Ellery Lloyd and The Hike by Lucy Clarke - I would recommend them all. - A mum's night out to Heathers the musical at the theatre - Lunch at Box Park and another Ikea trip to buy some of their Christmas bits (yes I mentioned the C word already 😂) - A brick people Lego event and Escape room trail at Denbies Wine Estate. - A Halloween party with 20 children and adults - I was Little Dead Riding Hood (Pictures might be coming soon, watch this space!) - A trip to the cinema to see Trolls Band Together - Wrapped up with a walk in nature and library trip with a fresh stack of books for my next reading spree. And guess what? I've still got that smile on! Work's going to feel like a holiday after this. 🤓 I've shared a snippet of my non-work life. What's a highlight from your personal adventures these past weeks? Let me know in the comments below and if you have pics to share even better! #WorkHardPlayHard #WorkLifeBalance #CommunityManagers #WellbeingMatters

First impressions matter. My wife and I serve on the leadership team at our church. Most Sundays, we’re at church at 6:20 a.m. to prepare our environment for Sunday service. We put up canopies, make coffee, put up flags, clean bathrooms, and nurseries, restock… all the unglamorous things. That means we bring the girls with us, too. The alarm goes off at 4:30am, and needless to say, they’re not usually thrilled. And serving is a family affair. They absolutely help. “Why do we serve so much, Dad?!” I get this question a lot. We tell them, “Because this could be someone’s first time coming to church, and how it looks and how it feels matters when they show up.” How do people see you or your company for the first time? What do they see when they pull into the parking lot? What’s the first thing they see and hear in the office? Is it clean? Do people seem engaged or disconnected? Can you smell the break room lunches from the lobby? Are people energetic? Are you smiling or stressed? So many things can be determined without a word ever being spoken. So, it’s your job to ensure that your culture and environment speak to your core values. They do, whether you’re intentional about it or not.

Ever been to a Christmas party that still brings a smile years later? There's an art to making it unforgettable. Most go with the classics—a big tree, jingle bells, and a feast fit for Santa. But what if we tried something different? Imagine a party where every detail screams your company culture. It's not just about the season; it's about your people. Put your team in the spotlight. Let them share traditions, stories, and talents. It adds a personal touch and tightens the team bond. And why not add some surprises? An unexpected guest, a magic show, or a Secret Santa. These are the moments everyone will remember. But remember, it's not just about being grand. It's about creating an atmosphere of value, inclusion, and festive cheer. This Christmas, let's redefine celebrations. It's more than decor and food—it's about the people who make the season merry and bright. http://crown-events.uk #holidayparty #festiveseason #teambonding #celebration #unforgettablemoments #christmascheer #companyculture #personalizedcelebration #employeeengagement #holidaytraditions #surpriseelements #merrymemories #inclusivecelebration #teammoments #joyfulcelebration
