About 80% of health outcomes are affected by social drivers of health, yet many key players in healthcare fail to account for social risk factors in delivering care, understanding conditions, or introducing new therapies. This is largely due to limited access to SDOH data. Now, life sciences organizations can access comprehensive SDOH data, informed by the industry's largest primary source dataset and linked at the patient level. Discover what the power of SDOH data can do. https://lnkd.in/eXg4sSi4

I'm thrilled to share about the abstract I presented at this year’s HeartUK conference. The abstract sheds light on the drivers of human behaviour and its impact on healthcare outcomes. More specifically, it shows how physicians’ personal beliefs about guidelines subsequently affect guideline implementation for optimal lipid management. In order to drive behaviour change in physicians in the future, tailored initiatives that address perceptions and practical barriers are needed for every differing health system. #behaviouralscience #behaviourchange

The path to care is complicated–with ups and downs, starts, and stops, and many factors along that way that influence how, when, and where an individual decides to get care. This implies that there isn’t a singular “digital front door,” but rather multiple entry points. In our panel discussion at HLTH, Dr. Douglas Nemecek and I will unpack these multiple entry points and what true collaboration between payers and digital health providers looks like.
Attending HLTH? Be sure to check out Brad Kittredge and Douglas Nemecek's discussion on October 8th from 11:30am-12:00pm PT (Level 3, Room 322-324). As part of the Going Digital: Behavioral Health Tech track, Brad and Dr. Nemecek will speak on how data-driven collaboration between digital health providers and payers is key to achieving life-saving outcomes. Comment below if you’ll be there!

I repost a lot of Bertalan Meskó, MD, PhD, the #medicalfuturist, content because I find it fascinating. What do you think of these "40 health trends shaping the digital health landscape?" Would you add any others? Do you have a favorite? So many of them amaze me, but we definitely need digital literacy in medical education and training now to keep up with the trends. #digitalhealth #meded
