We had a productive meeting at the office yesterday, where our Operations and Communications team members conducted an internal review: where do we stand halfway through 2024 in terms of communicating about our work and the value we deliver? We discussed our current operational processes and identified areas of strength and improvements to ensure that we continue to deliver valuable support to our members. The key takeaways from this meeting are: 📌 Ensure effective engagements of existing and 18 new members this year in our monthly sectoral advocacy group meetings, which provide a platform for members to discuss and exchange the latest updates. 📌 Ensure the effective delivery of regular surveys and monthly sectoral advocacy group meetings for updates and discussions, to serve as valuable insights for meetings with external stakeholders in and outside the country to strengthen our advocacy efforts to facilitate the business operations of European companies in Myanmar. 📌 Organization of ad-hoc events, tailored to current business needs. Our event calendar for the coming months is varied, reflecting the varied challenges businesses face: continuing our Heightened Human Rights Due Diligence series, and regular Legal and Banking, Security and Stakeholder Briefings. 📌 As the chamber with a presence on the ground, we remain committed to supporting our members in navigating this complex period, which in turn sustains quality jobs. #EuroChamMyanmar #TeamMeeting
