Modern technologies including #telemedicine, #digitalhealthtools, #AI, and #machinelearning help researchers reach a wider #clinicaltrial participant pool through cost-efficient #virtualtrials, gather data accurately, and generate richer insights. We expect that hybrid trials will bring beneficial medicines to patients more quickly and less expensively, through robust data governance, transparency, and participant connections that realize efficiency benefits while mitigating risks. 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗨𝗜. With the rapid development of Generative AI capabilities, like summarization, Q&A, content generation, and data analysis, I believe AI has become the new user interface (UI). This shift is changing how we interact with applications and what we expect from them. Now, experience design is essentially copilot design. I can think of five specific examples illustrating how AI is redefining the UI: 1. 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀 – I find this fascinating, and I believe this will be the tool and method of choice for continuous improvement teams and operations team. With the inclusion of GenAI components, users can interact with Celonis’s platform through natural language queries to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement. This has given voice to the traditional dashboards and on top of that suggest insights and next steps to be the process champion. 2. 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝘀 - I believe this was long overdue. Along with traditional search, traditional map interface is enhanced with an AI-powered conversational layer, allowing users to interact with Google Maps via natural language. I tried a lot of questions, and I felt that It has evolved into a combination of search and maps. 3.𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗡𝗼𝘄 - This is a good example of shifting from form based user experience to conversational experience powered by AI. This also builds on user based content and show cases the evolution of user experience design and thinking. This powered by AI and automation accelerates delivery of work and ticket closure. 4.𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗜 – I think capabilities like copilot with an application changes the paradigm of application and user capabilities. Users no longer need deep technical knowledge to create complex data visualizations. Instead, they interact with the AI through natural language, making data analytics more accessible and user-friendly. I also saw this being used to solve complex supply chain optimization requests building on the GenAi data, Q&A and others. I believe this area will also be more effectively solved with agents 5.𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲- Its great to see that purpose build and context aware emails can be custom created and send effortlessly at scale. Also, now its easier to bring various data and also use that for customer outreach and strategy. I love the feature of summarising an opportunity which is so practical in our daily work. GenAI is revolutionizing experience design and our expectations from these. Instead of logging in, searching, navigating, and then acting, users now chat and interact directly with the application. Not only is this, removing the complexity of navigating different UIs and but it is also integrating data and insights from various sources. . It is now a copilot experience era and I believe that it will fuel new requirements and expectation of what the application should be. Being Aifirst is critical. #AI #AIfirst #GenerativeAi #copilot #AIinbusiness #automation

According to a recent study from the Infosys Knowledge Institute, 12 providers of #cloud and cloud-based software report more than 300 billion dollars in unused #cloudcapacity in companies. The study also concludes that, on average, companies are only using 47 per cent of the #cloudsolutions they have already committed to; in Germany, this figure is as low as 43 per cent. Companies that do not fully utilise their cloud capacities lose out in two ways: firstly, through unnecessary expenditure and secondly, through unused capacities that could have generated an ROI. Ann-Kathrin Sauthoff-Bloch, Managing Director Infosys Consulting Germany, explains to ComputerWeekly.com how organisations can establish a value-adding and business-oriented approach to #cloudtransformation projects that also has a positive impact on return on investment (ROI).
