Sure, assuming the article in question covers St. Patrick's Day, here's a LinkedIn post you might use to share the insights from the article: --- Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone! 🍀 Today isn't just about donning green attire or enjoying a pint of Guinness; it's steeped in rich history and cultural significance. It's a day to celebrate the Irish culture, honor St. Patrick, and embrace the spirit of community and togetherness. In light of the occasion, I've read an insightful article that delves into the fascinating traditions and origins of this beloved holiday, and I couldn't help but share some of the learnings (minus the link, of course): 📖 The article highlights how St. Patrick's Day transcends geographical boundaries and has become a global celebratory phenomenon, showcasing the indelible impact of Irish culture around the world. 🌍 It further investigates how cities across the globe celebrate with parades, cultural festivals, and a sea of green, turning famous landmarks into emerald beacons. 🇮🇪 Additionally, it sheds light on the life of St. Patrick himself and how his missionary work centuries ago continues to resonate and inspire. 🍀 Lastly, the piece emphasizes not just the joyous festivities but also the importance of recognizing and respecting the cultural integrity and roots of the holiday. Whether you're Irish by blood or just in spirit, this article is a reminder of the rich tapestry of stories that shape St. Patrick's Day. It's a celebration of community, resilience, and the joy of shared heritage. Sláinte mhaith! (That's 'good health' for us non-Gaelic speakers) #StPatricksDay #Ireland #Culture #Community #GlobalCelebration #Heritage --- Remember that the purpose of the LinkedIn post is to provide a brief overview and insightful takeaways from the article to engage your network, promote thought, and potentially spark conversations. https://ayr.app/l/ttkQ

I attended the annual Toward a More Competitive #Colorado (TMCC) event, hosted by Metro Denver EDC, in the company of my colleagues from our Avison Young office. High-level insights were shared from the 2024 TMCC Report and 2024 Economic Forecast for Metro Denver. Combined, both reports unpack the data highlighting Colorado's ability to compete for corporate attraction and business development. Takeaways include: 🔬 Continued expansion in aerospace, bioscience, and the healthcare industries. 🎒 Colorado maintains a highly educated workforce, yet there are opportunities to cultivate local talent and improve graduation rates. 📈 We're in the preliminary stages of an affordability crunch with home prices in the Denver MSA more than doubling between 2014 and 2022. 🏔 The vibrant lifestyle embedded in Colorado's culture has resulted in a population that surpasses national health standards. For a comprehensive dive into the data shaping Colorado's competitive edge, check out the full reports here: https://lnkd.in/g3D-Hv3e #TMCCreport #economicdevelopment #dmcc #datadriven

This Pride Month, every company wants you to think they're inclusive. But have you ever tried to actually *implement* a DEI program at a company? These folks have, and they're sharing the ups and downs, the wins and pitfalls, the good, the bad, and the rainbow-logo-ugly. The facilitator of this panel is one of my oldest friends, and someone who thinks deeply about diversity, equity, and inclusion every single day. She's a DEI trainer, a CEO, and a thoughtful human being with lived experiences that make this very close to her heart. She's gathered a panel of people who have put in the work to implement DEI programs at their companies and have a wealth of experience in actually making this happen. It's not an easy process, and it's not as simple as making your logo a rainbow for Pride Month or posting a black square in support of Black Lives Matter. It's also not a set-it-and-forget-it project. Learn from those who have been there about how to make the most of the process and implement a program that truly has an impact.
Is your workplace growing stagnant in their DEI efforts? Does your leadership need a lil nudge from their industry peers? Are you personally curious about what these folks have to say about the state of DEI in Colorado? Serving the tea, we've got: - Jill Corbin from Colorado Tourism Office - Heather Disney Dugan from Colorado Parks and Wildlife -Jackie Miller from Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) - Philip C. Sneed from Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. - Melissa Akie Wiley from Town of Erie Co-Facilitator: The one, the only-- Parker McMullen Bushman Learn more about this event and buy your tickets today (they're going fast) at www.CrystalEgli.com. (Psst! Bonus points if you invite your boss.)
