For the third consecutive year, members of our team joined The Nature Conservancy, Independent Stave Company and Green Forests Work to reforest a former surface mine site in Knott County, Kentucky. More than 90 Beam Suntory team members, including our CEO Greg Hughes and members of our Executive Leadership Team, Supply Chain and Brand leaders like James B. Beam Distilling Co. 8th Generation Master Distiller Freddie Noe, planted more than 7,000 trees, including white oaks, in just one day, helping this barren land begin its journey back to nature. This annual event helps to transform the landscape and support long-term climate resiliency. Sustainable forest management is an important priority for Beam Suntory and our Proof Positive strategy as we look to advance our goal of planting more trees than harvested to make barrels. #ProofPositive #Reforestation
