The Deputy Prime Minister attended the Fourth Meeting of Francophone Entrepreneurs, a gathering of business leaders and policymakers from French-speaking countries to discuss innovation and entrepreneurial ventures within the Francophone community. The event aimed to enhance synergy between established companies and emerging startups, focusing on sustainable development and technological advancement. Key themes included digital transformation, access to international markets, and enhancing competitiveness in a globalized economy. The Deputy Prime Minister's presence underscored the government's commitment to supporting entrepreneurs, emphasizing the importance of innovation and adaptability in today's rapidly changing business landscape. A new initiative aimed at young entrepreneurs and startups was introduced, providing mentoring, funding, and international exposure. In 2022, the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship awarded its Innovation Award-Impact Amplifier prize to Popular for powering EPL. The Clinton Global Initiative has highlighted EPL as a collective-action model for wide reapplication. The International Council for Small Business has saluted EPL twice.
