What if nonprofits could leverage their data to demonstrate impact and secure more funding? Impact Genome’s Head of Product and Senior Vice President, Sandi Boga, M.Ed., joined a panel at the recent Peak Grantmaking Conference, for a session titled: “Transforming the Way Social Sector Data Flows, to discuss just that. “Our mission is to ensure that the smaller nonprofits are on equal footing with the more established ones and receive their fair share of funding dollars.” By using the Impact Genome Registry, nonprofits of any size can report program outcomes, gain visibility, and share their Verified Impact Report across all funders. “This approach elevates the influence of smaller nonprofits and allows decisions to be made purely based on impact versus relationships.” Read the full article here > https://bit.ly/4aS98P6 To learn more about the Impact Genome Registry > https://bit.ly/4axWZiE #ImpactGenome #ImpactGenomeRegistry #nonprofit #impactmeasurement #outcomemeasurment

Emerging Trends in Grant Funding: What Nonprofits Need to Know The landscape of grant funding is constantly evolving, and staying ahead of the curve is crucial for nonprofits to secure essential resources. Here are some key trends I've observed recently: 1. Increased Focus on Equity and Inclusion: Grantmakers are increasingly prioritizing projects that address systemic inequities and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Nonprofits should be prepared to demonstrate how their work aligns with these values and how they are actively working to create a more equitable and inclusive society. 2. Emphasis on Sustainability and Long-Term Impact: Funders are looking for projects that not only address immediate needs but also have a lasting impact. Nonprofits should focus on developing sustainable programs and demonstrating how their work will continue to benefit communities long after the grant funding ends. 3. Growing Interest in Collaborative Approaches: Collaboration is becoming increasingly important in the grantmaking world. Funders are looking for nonprofits that are willing to partner with other organizations to achieve greater impact. Nonprofits should be proactive in building relationships with other organizations and seeking out collaborative opportunities. 4. Technology and Innovation: Technology is playing an increasingly important role in grantmaking. Nonprofits should be prepared to leverage technology to streamline their operations, track their impact, and communicate with funders. Additionally, funders are showing interest in projects that utilize innovative approaches and technology to address social challenges. 5. Changes in Application Processes: Grant application processes are also evolving. Many funders are now using online platforms and streamlined processes to make it easier for nonprofits to apply for funding. However, some funders are also asking for more detailed information about the impact of proposed projects. Nonprofits should be prepared to provide comprehensive and compelling proposals that clearly articulate the need for their work and the expected outcomes. Navigating the Changing Landscape: To stay competitive in this evolving landscape, nonprofits need to: Stay informed: Keep up-to-date on the latest trends in grantmaking by reading industry publications, attending conferences, and networking with other professionals. Be adaptable: Be willing to adjust your strategies and approaches to align with the changing priorities of funders. Build relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with funders by communicating regularly, sharing your successes, and demonstrating your commitment to their goals. By understanding and adapting to these emerging trends, nonprofits can position themselves for success in securing the funding they need to achieve their missions. #grantfunding #nonprofits #philanthropy #fundraising #impact
